This June’s ELECTION CONNECTION newsletter enhances current communication efforts by providing the basic information that each voter will need for the upcoming election, including critical deadlines.
June’s edition will highlight Early Vote by Mail, Absentee Voting, and Early Voting. We are also emphasizing that only Democrats in districts with a contested election are eligible for the June Primary. There are contested primaries in the City of Rochester, Assembly District 137, as well as parts of Brighton and Irondequoit. Any voter with questions about their eligibility should contact the Board.
It is the Board’s hope that you share this newsletter widely and guide voters to explore the wealth of information and resources at our website, http://www.monroecounty.gov/elections. The Board encourages everyone to visit our website and view the latest newsletter before every election. All newsletters and Press Releases can be found at http://www.monroecounty.gov/elections-media.
Additionally, the Board of Elections is always seeking voters willing to sign up as poll workers. To learn about being a poll worker, please visit our website. If you have questions, please reach out to the Monroe County Board of Elections by phone 585-753-1550 or email mcboe@monroecounty.gov
